Motion Debated – Call for Premier to Renegotiate Stadium with AFL

The Hon. Meg Webb MLC debated in the Legislative Council on Tuesday the 8th of April her motion noting the recently released Gruen Independent Report on the proposed Macquarie Point AFL Stadium, and the Tasmanian Planning Commission’s Draft Integrated Assessment report, and which called for the government to seek to renegotiate the AFL agreement regarding timeframes and proposed stadium location. 

The motion was defeated: 4 Yes vs 10 No
