Motion Debate – Step Towards Strengthening Tasmania’s Human Rights
The Hon. Meg Webb MLC brought on her motion for debate in the Legislative Council on Tuesday 14 April 2026, moving that the Ombudsman Tasmania Annual Report 2024-25 be noted by the Legislative Council, and specifically the statements made in the report which pertain to the capacity of the TNPM to fulfil its statutory obligations.Â
The motion was agreed to.Â
