Women’s Day Dinner to Feature Flakemore

Kingborough and Huon Business Enterprise Centre is preparing to host their eighth consecutive International Women’s Day Gala Dinner, this time on Wednesday, March 5 in the Jacaranda Room of the Kingston Hotel.

This year’s campaign theme is ‘Accelerate Action’, with the guest speaker the 2017 Telstra Tasmanian Entrepreneur Award winner, finalist in the 2019 Telstra Small Business Awards and 2020 Tasmanian Telstra Business Women’s Award winner, Alison Flakemore of Alison’s Garden & Landscape.

Alison started from humble beginnings in 1997, working out of an old van and delivering flyers in her local community, to grow to now boast a business with a professional team of employees and a fleet of vehicles ranging from garden maintenance, trucks, excavators, landscape, vacant land slashing, gutter cleaning and commercial cleaning.

Attendees are asked to RSVP by Thursday, February 27.
