Motion Tabled – Call for Premier to Renegotiate Stadium with AFL

The Hon. Meg Webb MLC tabled the following motion in the Legislative Council on Wednesday 2 April 2025, noting the recently released Gruen Independent Report on the proposed Macquarie Point AFL Stadium, and the Tasmanian Planning Commission’s Draft Integrated Assessment report. 

Note: this motion is yet to be debated.

Under Legislative Council processes private members business can only be debated on Tuesdays of parliamentary sitting weeks.  Meg is intending to debate this motion at the next earliest available opportunity which is Tuesday the 8th of April – stay tuned!
