Motion Tabled – Ministerial Diaries Reform-Call for Action

The Hon. Meg Webb MLC tabled the following motion in the Legislative Council on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, (following the resumption of the Tasmanian Parliament after its proroguing for the early July state election), noting the previous calls by the Legislative Council for a public review and input into a transparent ministerial diary model which have been ignored by government, and repeating those earlier calls for action.

Note: this motion is yet to be debated.

Under Legislative Council processes private members business can only be debated on Tuesdays of parliamentary sitting weeks.  Meg is intending to debate this motion at the next earliest available opportunity which is Tuesday the 23rd of September– stay tuned!
