Motion Tabled – Tasmanian Human Rights Act Needed

The Hon. Meg Webb MLC tabled the following motion in the Legislative Council on Wednesday 10 December 2025, moving that the Legislative Council notes the resolutions passed on the 22nd of November 2022, and the 26th of November 2024 requesting the Tasmanian Government commence work on developing a Tasmanian Human Rights Act. The motion also notes December 10, 2025 as the annual International Human Rights Day.
