TasTAFE Petitions

Wednesday, 5 November 2025.

The Hon. Meg Webb MLC was delighted to table two petitions in the Legislative Council calling for the government to reverse its decision, and reinstate the subsidies for the valuable Laboratory Technology courses at TasTAFE.

(Note: although the two petitions’ format did not comply with the Parliamentary petition requirements, Ms Webb sought and was provided leave by the Chamber to table both as non-conforming petitions.)
