Submission to the Proposed Model for Reform of Lobbying Oversight in Tasmania

July 26, 2023

Since the 1st of July 2022 the Tasmanian Integrity Commission has been responsible for administering the Tasmanian Register of Lobbyists and Lobbying Code of Conduct (previously administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet since the Code’s introduction in 2009).

Since 2022 the Integrity Commission has been undertaking a public consultation process to review and modernise Tasmania’s lobbyist oversight system.  The latest stage saw submissions invited to the Commission’s Framework Report: Model for Reform of Lobbying Oversight in Tasmania released in June 2023.

See below for my submission made to the Proposed Model for Reform of Lobbying Oversight.

Additional information about the Integrity Commission’s Reforming lobbying oversight in Tasmania project is available on the Commission’s website here.
