My Electorate of Nelson
In 2019, I had the honour of being elected to the Tasmanian Legislative Council as an independent member for Nelson.
Since then, it has been an absolute joy to represent my community, and work towards a better future for our state through my work in parliament.
I ran for re-election again during the May Legislative Council 2025 elections, and was deeply honoured to be returned as the Independent Member for Nelson for a second term.
The electoral division of Nelson is a constituency of the Tasmanian Legislative Council, which is the Upper House in the Tasmanian State Parliament.
The Upper House Nelson electorate includes many of the suburbs south of the Hobart city municipal area such as Sandy Bay, Taroona, Mount Nelson and parts of Dynnyrne. It also includes the Kingborough municipal area north of Alonga Road and Pearsall Avenue in Blackmans Bay, including Kingston and Kingston Beach.
You can pop into my electorate office in Kingston if you require support or assistance on electorate, and public policy matters, or if you just wish to have a chat about matters important to you.
If you’re unsure whether you live in the wonderful Nelson electorate, the Tasmanian Electoral Commission has a simple tool you can use to identify which Federal, State and local government electorates you are in. You can access that here.
